The Joint Commission is Proposing New BHC Standards for Eating Disorders Care, Treatment, or Services!   They are seeking input from the field? What do you think?

The Joint Commission has developed proposed eating disorders care, treatment, or services standards. These standards would be applicable to any Joint Commission-accredited behavioral health care organization that is providing such services; they would not be a mandate for all accredited behavioral health care organizations to offer these services. Any organization seeking Joint Commission accreditation for its eating disorders program would also have to meet certain core Behavioral Health Care (BHC) accreditation requirements in addition to these proposed requirements.
